About Me

Diane Walters, described as a “clear, beautifully colored soprano” by the Broad Street Review in Philadelphia and "sweetly endearing" by Music In Cincinnati, is a chamber artist and soloist based in Brownsville, Texas..  A choral nerd at heart, she enjoys collaborating with choral groups across the United States and in Europe.
She received a Master of Music and Professional Studies Diploma from the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University and a Bachelor of Music from the Capital University Conservatory of Music.  She spent two summers as an apprentice with Berkshire Choral International where she met her husband, Sean, a fellow choral nerd, and is now the summer Administrative Assistant.  She is co-director and music director of the Carroll High School Freedom Players in Dayton, Ohio.  In her free time, she is an avid knitter, loves to travel and cook.

Where I've Sung

Diane currently sings with Cincinnati’s Vocal Arts Ensemble under the direction of Craig Hella Johnson, The Crossing under the direction of Donald Nally, Schola Cincinnati, Chorosynthesis in Seattle, Taylor Festival Choir, and the Choir of St. Peter in Chains Cathedral.
